IEICOS Electronic Digital Microprocessor based Motor Test Bench
IEICOS Digital Electronic Microprocessor based Motor Test Bench for testing of electric motors is built for rugged industrial environments and provides bright digital display of all test parameters. Using in-line rotating/reaction torque sensors and speed sensors for rotating parameters and transmission power measurement, and various electrical transducers such as voltage, current, power factor etc for input and output parameter measurement, it provides digital display of all measured and real-time calculated paramters including input power, transmission power and output absorption/loading power, and also real-time efficiency.
IEICOS Motor Test Bench are built with complete control for motors to vary speed and load characteristics. For AC motors, variable frequency drives (VFD) can be provided for speed control. For DC motors, DC generators and Eddy current dyanamometers, DC excitation and armature controllers can be provided for individual control.
IEICOS Motor Test Bed
IEICOS Motor Test Beds are custom built based on customer's test motor sizes/capacity, selection of reaction or rotating torque sensor, dynamometer/loading type and capacity.
IEICOS provides two options for torque measurement - Reaction torque sensor and in-line rotating torque sensor (both contact and non-contact options). Speed measurement can be incorporated into the rotating toque sensors or provided externally (both contact and non-contact options available).
IEICOS Motor Test Beds are available with various options of choice as per customer requirements for loading dyanamometers - DC Generator Dynamometer, Eddy Current Dyanamometer, Water Brake Dynamometer, brake drum with mechanical loading, Electrical Resisitive/Lamp Loading, magnetic brake, etc. which can be chosen by the customer.

Accessories for Motor Test Bed
IEICOS Torque Sensors
IEICOS manufactures two types of torque sensors for use with the motor test beds - in-line rotating torque sensor and the reaction torque sensor
In-line rotating torque sensors are used (as the name suggests) in-line with the motor under test and the loading dynamometer. These torque sensors are available in both contact and non-contact models.
IEICOS recommends reaction torque sensor for swinging loads. Reaction torque sensors have no rotating components and can be used at the back of the swinging load (dynamometer) with the load connected directly to the motor.

Flexible Couplings
IEICOS supplies flexible couplings for interconnecting the motor under test (primemover) and the loading dynamometer or at both ends of the in-line rotating torque sensor.
U-channel Bed
IEICOS supplies U-channel bed to mount the motor under test, torque and speed sensor and the loading dynamometer customized to the size and capacity required. The U-channel bed is provided with bolt holes for anchoring it to the floor. The U-channel bed also incorporates

Computer Interface, software and printout facility
IEICOS provides various options as per customer requirements for computer interface, software and printout facility. A full fledged computer interface with menu driven GUI based software with display which replicates the Digital Electronic Motor Test Bench can be provided.
