IEICOS Wear and Friction Tester - Model IWFT-DD

IEICOS manufactures wear and friction tester (pin-on-disc tester) for analyzing wear and friction characteristics of sliding contact. The wear and friction tester can be operated under both dry and lubricated conditions. Various materials can be tested on the IEICOS Wear and Friction Tester (pin-on-disc machine).

IEICOS Wear and Friction Tester consists of a stationary stylus pin and a rotating disk below it. Parameters such as Normal Load, rotational speed and wear track diameter can be varied. Sensors are provided to measure normal load, wear (displacement), frictional force , speed. Digital displays are provided for display of the above parameters. The instrument is also provided with electronic motor controller for accurate speed control of the rotating disk.
