Load Cells are electronic transducers, which translate changes in force or weight into changes in voltage. This change in voltage is signal conditioned to produce an indication in the Digital Readout Instrument or an amplified output, which is directly proportional to the load applied to the cell. IEICOS Load Cells contain very sensitive Strain Gauges effectively bonded to internal load sensing elements of high quality stainless steel/aluminum machined to close tolerances and tested for it strength. The Strain Gauges are electrically connected into a wheat stone bridge circuit which, when excited from an external power source, produces an output voltage proportional to the applied load. IEICOS Load Cells are temperature compensated to minimize output variations over a wide range of operating temperatures.
