AUTOMATION OF IMPACT TESTING OF HELMETS |

IEICOS Impact Testing of Helmet test rig is built to test pilot helmets. The helmet is dropped from specified height and the sensors in the system places the helmet precisely at specified height and measures acceleration, terminal velocity to calculate and plot the result to determine the outcome of the test.
Software comprises of a user friendly Graphical user Interface (GUI) display and is completely automated and the hardware can be driven and operated from the computer including motion control. The data acquired can be saved in a text file that can be easily opened in MS word, notepad and Excel and hence can be printed and/or posted on-line. The Software application is windows based and can be ported (installed) to other windows-based machines

IEICOS Oxygen Mask Test rig, provides a compact solution to conduct the tests on pilot’s oxygen masks. Once mask is mounted, all the tests can be performed without changing any setup. Easy to use front end user interface guides the user to setup the required tests parameters. Once started the user can decide the number of times to repeat the tests and generate a report at the completion of tests.

Oxygen Mask testing software is developed for multichannel Data Acquisition to monitor flow, pressure, process and display vital parameters with customization in Labview. It is designed to have signal acquisition, monitoring, analysis, storage, retrieval and report generation. MULTICOMPONENT DIGITAL FORCE INDICATOR SOFTWARE |

The IEICOS Tool Dynamometers measures the force applied in 3 mutually perpendicular directions (horizontal, vertical and thrust). This is resolved as a 3-channel output for both the Hardware and Software of the IEICOS Multicomponent Digital Force Indicator Model. The Software plots the real time signal using IEICOS data acquisition system

The software displays the three components separately and also a 4th combined graph/ tool tip temperature. There is provision to save data into a file for further probing and analysis. The software has provision to plot saved data aswell. |

10 CHANNEL STRAIN INDICATOR |

The IEICOS Data Acquisition system (DAS) is designed to provide a versatile Software platform to serve as an equivalent to, and enhance the adaptability of the IEICOS Strain Indicator 10-Channel Hardware. The Software displays and stores the date to a file, utilizing IEICOS data acquisition system.

The IEICOS Strain Indicator 10 channel Hardware is used for any experimental setup to study the strain analysis. Upto 10 strain sensors can be connected and viewed in different modes, hence recorded. The Software displays the real time data. There is provision to save data into a file for further probing and analysis. |

I-DTSISA application is developed for Data Acquisition for testing motors in conjunction with IEICOS Torque Speed Temperature Indicator. The software has the capability of real time charting, archival, retrieval and plotting facility with zoom etc for torque, speed, and temperature data. There is provision for plotting torque speed characteristics. BHP data is calculated is plotted with time. Three independent temperature data is plotted with time.
The data acquired can be saved in a text file that can be easily opened in MS word, notepad and Excel and hence can be printed and/or posted on-line. The Software application is windows based and can be ported (installed) to other windows-based machines.
A variant of the IEICOS Motor Testing hardware measures Motor Electrical Details- Voltage, Current, Power, Frequency, Torque, speed, Temperatures. The Software displays the real time signal using IEICOS DAS. There is provision to generate report for the tests conducted. Specific tests - Load Test and Heat Run test can be conducted and report generated from software.

AUTOMATED LAYER BY LAYER SEQUENTIAL COATER |

IEICOS Automated Layer By Layer Sequential Coater (ALBLSC) is designed for automated and accurate positioning of specimens for sequential coating. The system is designed using precision ground ball screws with linear guide ways for both X and Y axis. These precision ground ball screws with linear guide ways allow for very accurate positioning of better than 0.1mm.
The ball screws are driven by AC servo motor with built in encoders for accurate positioning, control and monitoring of control. A full featured AC servo Drive unit is provided to control the AC Servo motor and position the specimen accurately. |
AC servo motor drive along with the servo motor and encoder unit can be controlled in position control, speed control or torque control modes, which helps to accurately position the specimen.
The IEICOS- ALBLSC is provided with a advanced full featured software for automated control and positioning of the system through the software installed on the laptop. The software provides both automated and manual control for the user and is very user friendly.

The IEICOS Shake Table Experiment hardware measures acceleration from the setup subject to different frequencies of vibration. The Software plots the real time signal using IEICOS DAS. The software displays the accelerometer signal separately and also a combined graph showing all signals on one single graph. There is provision to save data into a file for further probing and analysis. The software has provision to retrieve and plot the saved data also. |

IEICOS Temperature Process Control System is an advanced experimental bench designed for study and understanding of temperature control process, components involved in monitoring and control of temperature, stability and time constant of temperature control etc. in a table top size for easy handling and setup. Designed to take very little of valuable lab space, it is designed to provide utmost features with little components at low cost. IEICOS system to measure viscosity consists of torque, speed measurements. Temperature is also recorded at two different places. From torque and speed, viscosity is calculated using the equation. The software acquires data from various sensors and displays real time data along with instantaneous calculation of viscosity7.
