Horizontal Profile Projector – HPP 200

IEICOS Profile Projectors is an optical instrument used in a small parts machine shop or production line for the quality control inspection team or in engineering institutions for teaching students. The projector magnifies the profile of the specimen, and displays the profile of the part being examined on the built-in projection screen. A grid present on the screen can be rotated 360 degrees so that the X-Y axis of the screen can be aligned with a straight edge of the machined part to examine or measure and for calculating linear measurements. Simple measurements may be taken for distances from one point to other point on the magnified profile of the specimen.

The part being examined is illuminated by diascopic illumination, also called transmitted illumination, which is lighting from behind. If the specimen is opaque, the light will not go through it, but will form a profile of the specimen. Measuring of the sample can be done on the projection screen.
